Bithumb Holds Second Employee Blood Donation Drive This Year

Bithumb said on May 20 that it held an employee blood donation drive and blood donation certificate donation event with the Seoul Southern Blood Center of the Korean Red Cross on May 18 in front of the main gate of its headquarters in Seoul's Gangnam district.

Bithumb has been running regular blood donation events to help stabilize blood supplies and expand employee participation in social contribution activities. Since launching its first campaign in 2022, the company has held the event every year. This was its second blood donation drive this year, following one in January.

Employees participated voluntarily in the latest event. Participants also donated blood donation certificates they already held through a donation box set up on site. The blood and certificates collected that day are set to be delivered through related institutions and donation groups to underprivileged patients in need of medical support.

Bithumb said continued voluntary participation by employees has helped make blood donation a part of its corporate culture. The company added that it will continue carrying out sincere social contribution activities that provide practical help to society.
