CROSS Signs Validator MOU With CertiK Ahead of Mainnet 2.0 Upgrade
Forecast Trend Report by Period

CROSS Protocol said May 21 that it signed a memorandum of understanding with global blockchain security firm CertiK for validator cooperation.
Under the agreement, CertiK will join CROSS Protocol as an independent validator node operator. Validators verify transactions on blockchain networks and participate in block creation.
CROSS Protocol is seeking to expand its global validator ecosystem and advance network decentralization ahead of its Mainnet 2.0 upgrade, Breakpoint, scheduled for June 1. The upgrade is focused on shifting the network from a holding-centered structure to a participation-based model. A related governance vote won about 98% approval.
Jang Hyun-guk, chief executive officer of NEXUS, said CertiK has built strong credibility in global blockchain security. He added that the partnership should bolster CROSS Protocol's security and network reliability.
