Quack AI, HYBLOCK to Host AEF SEOUL 2026, Unveil AI Agent On-Chain Payment Demo

Web3 infrastructure company Quack AI and HYBLOCK, Hanyang University's blockchain society, will jointly host Agent Execution Frontier, or AEF, SEOUL 2026, the companies said on May 26.

The event is scheduled for May 27 at Hashed Lounge in Seoul's Gangnam district. It will focus on AI agent-based on-chain payments and execution architecture.

The organizers expect 158 pre-registered attendees. Sponsors include Metis, ZetaChain, AIVM, ChainGPT, GOAT Network and PIVERSE. Partners include teams from Monad, BNB Chain, Injective, Sentient, Mantle and Avalanche.

AEF is a four-week research and development program that tests on-chain execution architecture and autonomous payment environments for AI agents. Thirteen participating teams verified protocol roadmaps under the theme "2028 Intelligence Crisis." The results will be presented at the event and shared as publicly available articles.

The event will also feature a natural-language AI payment demo. If a user enters a prompt such as "Send $1 in USDC on BNB Chain" into an AI assistant such as Claude or Codex CLI, the AI will automatically execute the on-chain payment. Settlement is completed without a separate MetaMask pop-up or gas token, according to Quack AI.

The feature is powered by q402-mcp, a package based on MCP, or Model Context Protocol, developed by Quack AI. The company said its Q402 infrastructure currently supports nine EVM networks, including BNB Chain, Ethereum, Avalanche, Mantle, Injective and Scroll. As of May 25, cumulative settlements had reached 11,793 transactions.

The event will also include awards for outstanding research presentations and a networking session. All attendees will receive Quack AI's native token, Q, on BNB Smart Chain.
