Grayscale appears close to launching a spot Hyperliquid exchange-traded fund tied to Hyperliquid’s HYPE token.

The Block reported on June 1 that the asset manager disclosed the fee and ticker in an amended S-1 registration statement for the Grayscale Hyperliquid Staking ETF filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

The fund will trade under the ticker HYPG and charge a 0.29% management fee.

That is below the 0.34% fee charged by Bitwise’s BHYP ETF and the 0.30% fee for 21Shares’ THYP ETF. BHYP, however, is waiving fees during its first month after launch.

Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart wrote on X that Grayscale’s Hyperliquid ETF launch is imminent and that he expects the fund to begin trading this week.

HYPG would be the third Hyperliquid ETF to reach the market, after Bitwise’s BHYP and 21Shares’ THYP.

Institutional demand for Hyperliquid ETFs has been climbing rapidly. The Block said cumulative net inflows into spot Hyperliquid ETFs topped $132 million as of last month.
