Humanity (H) said it confirmed that a foundation member’s private key was compromised in a hacking incident on June 9.
Humanity Protocol co-founder Terence Kwok wrote on X that the project had identified a security breach involving the theft of one Humanity Foundation member’s private key.
He urged users to avoid interacting with the bridge and all liquidity pools until their safety is confirmed. The team is working with security experts and exchange partners to resolve the issue. He added that protecting the community is its responsibility and that the project will continue to share updates on the response and its progress.
Humanity Protocol is known to have suffered about $19 million in losses from the hack.
