Coinbase’s x402 Payment Protocol Rolls Out on Injective to Support Real-Time AI Agent Payments

Coinbase’s x402 payment protocol has been launched on the Injective network.

Odaily reported on June 9 that the Coinbase x402 service went live on Injective. The protocol is designed to let artificial intelligence agents pay for API calls in real time without complex steps such as account creation or subscriptions.

As of 11:43 a.m. on June 9, Injective was trading at $5.47, down 1.88% from a day earlier, according to CoinMarketCap.
