Forecast Trend Report by Period

Large Cardano (ADA) wallets that had been inactive for an extended period have recently resumed activity on the network.
On-chain analytics firm Santiment reported on June 10 that it had detected unusual changes in Cardano’s Mean Dollar Invested Age and Age Consumed metrics.
Mean Dollar Invested Age measures the average holding period of capital stored in Cardano wallets. The metric had been rising steadily until recently, but that upward trend has slowed as a large amount of dormant holdings began moving again.
At the same time, the Age Consumed metric has spiked several times over the past four to five days. The latest jump was the biggest since April.
Age Consumed rises when coins that have not moved for a long period begin circulating again. That indicates long-term holders are starting to reengage with the market.
Santiment said Cardano tokens that had remained dormant for an extended period began moving again during the recent correction. The firm said that points to a meaningful shift taking place within the market.
The metrics, however, do not necessarily signal an immediate trend reversal.
Santiment said simultaneous spikes in Age Consumed and a slowdown in the rise of Mean Dollar Invested Age have often appeared near major market turning points in the past. While that does not confirm a rebound, the firm said, it is a signal worth watching.
