President Donald Trump said the US is planning additional military action against Iran and intends to take control of its energy infrastructure.
In a post on Truth Social on June 11, Korea time, Trump wrote that most of Iran’s defensive and offensive capabilities — including its navy, air force, radar systems and air defenses — had been eliminated. He added that the US would hit Iran "very hard tonight."
Trump also said the US would soon secure Kharg Island and other oil infrastructure sites. As it did in Venezuela, Washington would "fully control" Iran’s oil and gas market, he said.
