Iran’s state-run Fars News Agency reported on June 20 that the IRGC Navy said the Strait of Hormuz had been “completely closed minutes ago.” The force said it shut the strait to all vessels because of what it called Israel’s “criminal acts” in Lebanon and the US failure to implement a ceasefire agreement.
