Bitcoin fell below $60,000 for the first time since October 2024, with heavy selling by whale investors adding to the decline, according to an analysis.
On June 24, on-chain analytics firm Santiment said Bitcoin's market price had dropped below $60,000 for the first time since Oct. 10, 2024. Selling by major whale wallets is putting pressure on the market.
Santiment said key investors holding between 10 BTC and 10,000 BTC sold a combined 45,074 BTC over the past eight days. Those wallets are considered major drivers of market supply and demand.
