1inch said July 2 that it has integrated Robinhood Chain, Robinhood’s blockchain for tokenized real-world assets, or RWAs.
As an official launch partner for Robinhood Chain, 1inch will support trading in tokenized stocks and exchange-traded products, or ETPs. The integration will let users trade tokenized stocks, funds and other real-world assets on-chain outside regular stock market hours.
Robinhood Chain is built on Arbitrum and has recorded more than $2 billion in real-world asset transfer volume on its testnet alone. From the first day of launch, 1inch will support trading in Robinhood’s tokenized stocks and ETPs through its decentralized application, wallet and swap API.
The integration includes initial support for tokenized assets, connections to liquidity sources and price data from Bitstamp. It also adds the backend infrastructure needed for trading, including pricing, gas-fee estimates, balance checks, compliance screening and trade gateways, enabling both Classic Swap and Fusion.
1inch said its routing technology is designed to connect fragmented real-world asset liquidity efficiently, allowing users to execute trades without having to find the best route themselves. The company also plans to add support for intent-based trading.
“Robinhood Chain is a platform that brings real-world assets on-chain,” 1inch co-founder Sergej Kunz said. “1inch provides the infrastructure to ensure those assets have sufficient liquidity and can trade smoothly.”
As Robinhood, one of the largest US crypto platforms for retail investors, enters the real-world asset market, efficient routing, deep liquidity and reliable execution will become even more important, he added. Those are core capabilities 1inch has built over several years.
“Robinhood Chain was designed to make digital assets, especially tokenized real-world assets, more accessible and interoperable within the on-chain ecosystem,” Gaëtan Thabot, head of crypto partnerships at Robinhood, said. Integrations with infrastructure providers such as 1inch should help users and developers access liquidity for tokenized assets on Robinhood Chain more easily.
