Crypto Fear & Greed Index Rises to 23, Stays in Extreme Fear

The Fear & Greed Index, a measure of investor sentiment in the cryptocurrency market, remained in extreme fear territory.

According to Alternative on July 5, the index rose 1 point from a day earlier to 23. Even so, it remained in the extreme fear range.

As of 11 a.m., Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market value, was up 0.52% from a day earlier at $62,693. Ether and XRP were also trading sideways.
