Forecast Trend Report by Period

XRP has broken above a key resistance level on strong trading volume, with the token’s near-term direction now hinging on whether that breakout zone holds as support.
CoinDesk reported on July 6 that positive catalysts for XRP have continued to build. U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded funds posted net inflows for a ninth straight week, drawing $17.19 million last week.
Still, on-chain analytics firm Santiment said XRP’s 30-day and 365-day MVRV were about negative 45% and negative 47%, respectively, showing that many investors remain at an unrealized loss.
XRP rose about 2.9% over the past 24 hours, trading from $1.1344 to $1.1454. At 10 p.m. UTC on July 5, trading volume jumped to about 81.89 million XRP, or 207% above the 24-hour average, helping the token break through resistance at $1.14. XRP then climbed to $1.1594 within two hours before pulling back to around $1.146 as profit-taking emerged.
From a technical perspective, the move above $1.14 marks the key breakout level, CoinDesk said. The $1.14 to $1.145 range has now turned into critical support, and the short-term bullish structure remains intact as long as that zone holds. Failure to reclaim $1.155 could leave XRP stuck in a near-term range. A break below $1.145 could deepen the pullback toward $1.142 and $1.133.
Traders are watching $1.155 as the first resistance level. A move above the $1.17 to $1.20 resistance band could open the way for additional gains toward $1.29 to $1.30, CoinDesk said.
