Bitcoin’s recent rebound was led by whale investors active in both the spot and futures markets, according to an analysis from CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju.
In a post on X on July 6, Ju wrote that “whales drove both BTC spot and futures over the past 24h.”
The comment suggests large investors bought spot Bitcoin while also aggressively building positions in the futures market, helping drive the price higher.
