allabo X, a global character intellectual property and platform planning and production company, said Thursday it has unveiled REMINI, the official character for girl group RESCENE, and will give the project its first offline showcase at the 2026 Character Licensing Fair.

REMINI is an animal-character project based on the members of RESCENE. It consists of five characters: Jota inspired by Woni, Rippu by Liv, Ming by Minami, Yam by May and Jjeroming by Zena.

The project was developed over about 18 months, rather than as a short-term release. RESCENE’s members participated from the early planning stages, reflecting their own personalities and ideas in the designs, while allabo X built out the worldview and story for each character.

allabo X specializes in character IP projects and has worked with domestic and overseas companies including Burberry, Naver and S-OIL. Designers involved in the company’s projects have won Red Dot and iF Design awards, and allabo X has recently been expanding its character IP business based on K-pop artists.

REMINI will be unveiled to the public for the first time at the 2026 Character Licensing Fair. RESCENE was selected as an official ambassador for the event for a second straight year, and the group plans to present a range of content at the venue alongside the character reveal.

The event will also mark the first public release of REMINI’s creation process and the backstory for each character, developed over about 18 months. More than 10 types of merchandise, including phone grips, cushions, plush dolls and key rings, are also scheduled to go on sale for the first time.

allabo X plans to continue expanding businesses tied to the REMINI IP after the event. In the second half of 2026, it plans to open a large offline pop-up store where visitors can experience REMINI directly and launch a range of licensing businesses.

An allabo X official said REMINI is more than a fandom product tied to a K-pop artist and is instead a high-end IP with independent commercial potential and a distinctive level of quality. The company will begin by unveiling the story behind the character’s creation at the event, then move on to a pop-up store later this year and broader licensing initiatives aimed at the global character market, the official added.
