Bitdeer to Build $36 Million Factory in Nevada, Expanding Mining Equipment Supply Chain

Bitdeer said July 10 that it held a groundbreaking ceremony for an advanced electronics manufacturing facility in Sparks, Nevada, with about 178,000 square feet of space.

The project will involve a total investment of $36 million, including plant construction and equipment installation. The site will serve as Bitdeer’s first manufacturing and assembly base in the US.

The new factory is due to be completed by the end of 2026. After completion, Bitdeer plans to produce 10,000 units a month of its in-house SEALMINER mining equipment.

Paul Hanson, chairman of Bitdeer Industries, said the Sparks factory is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen supply-chain resilience and respond more quickly from a location closer to US customers. Production in Nevada is also a long-term investment to support digital infrastructure operations in the US, he added.
