Polymarket, the decentralized prediction-market platform, has tightened its surveillance of insider trading and referred about 100 suspect wallets to law enforcement.

Bloomberg reported on July 20 that the company had strengthened its monitoring of trades that may involve insider trading and turned over wallets flagged for suspicious activity.

A Bloomberg analysis of Polysights data found that about $200 million of trading on Polymarket in the first half of this year showed characteristics associated with potential insider activity.

The suspicious trading was concentrated primarily in prediction markets tied to geopolitical issues, including Iran and Venezuela.
