Grayscale Files for First US Worldcoin ETF
Forecast Trend Report by Period

Grayscale has filed a registration statement to launch the first US exchange-traded fund tied to Worldcoin (WLD).
Crypto media outlet Cointelegraph reported on July 21 that Grayscale submitted an S-1 registration statement for a Worldcoin ETF to the US Securities and Exchange Commission. A preliminary prospectus shows the fund is slated to list on Nasdaq under the ticker GWLD.
BitGo Bank and Trust will serve as custodian, while BNY Mellon will provide fund administration and transfer agency services. CSC Delaware Trust Company will act as trustee. The filing did not disclose management fees, seed capital, authorized participants or liquidity providers.
Worldcoin is the native token of World, a project founded by OpenAI Chief Executive Officer Sam Altman. The ERC-20 token runs on the Ethereum blockchain. The project uses biometric data, including iris scans, to distinguish humans from bots.
The filing would bring the number of crypto-related exchange-traded products managed by Grayscale to 18. The asset manager already offers products tied to Bitcoin (BTC), XRP, Solana (SOL), Ether (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE) and Chainlink (LINK), among others.
