Binance Expands ‘Financial Super App’ Push to Investing, Payments and Transfers

Binance, the world’s largest digital-asset exchange, said July 22 that it is stepping up a “Financial Super App” strategy aimed at integrating investing, payments, remittances and wealth management.

The move comes as the boundary between digital assets and traditional finance erodes rapidly, increasing demand for platforms that let users access multiple financial services in one place.

Binance plans to broaden its on-chain financial offerings, including Pre-IPO Perps, listed stock tokens and prediction markets. The company said the expansion is intended to open up investment opportunities in assets that have been harder to access through traditional financial markets by using blockchain technology.

It is also strengthening everyday financial services. Binance Pay, the company’s payments app, supports a network of more than 20 million merchants worldwide, and cumulative payment volume has exceeded $280 billion.

Binance also said it is reinforcing regulatory compliance and security to support the strategy. The company currently holds licenses in 20 jurisdictions globally and has 29 global security and compliance certifications. It spends more than $300 million a year on strengthening its compliance framework.

Co-Chief Executive Officer He Yi said digital assets, equities and real-world asset tokens, or RWAs, will eventually be connected seamlessly on a single platform. Binance’s goal is to build an ecosystem that gives users easy and secure access to global financial services through a financial super app spanning investing, payments, remittances and wealth management.
