Bitmine Buys 9,946 Ether, Nears Goal of Holding 5% of Supply

Bitmine, the largest corporate holder of Ether, moved closer to its goal of owning 5% of the token's total supply after adding to its holdings.

On July 27, the company said it bought 9,946 Ether over the past week. That increased its total Ether holdings to 5,787,414 tokens, equivalent to 4.8% of total supply.

Bitmine has previously said it aims to hold 5% of Ethereum's total supply.
