Forecast Trend Report by Period

Zimbabwe's securities regulator has approved seven fintech projects for its regulatory sandbox, with more than half focused on tokenization.
Cointelegraph reported on July 28 that the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe approved seven companies for sandbox participation: Zimbabwe Entrepreneur Exchange, Ndarama Standard, Questview Brokers, Crowddax Capital, Procode Platforms, Financial Securities Exchange (FINSEC) and Colmine Resources Zimbabwe.
The approved projects cover blockchain-based capital raising, crowdfunding, synthetic trading, and the tokenization of assets, securities and infrastructure. Four of the seven are directly focused on tokenization.
Under the SECZ's regulatory sandbox guidelines, approval allows limited testing under the regulator's supervision. Successful testing does not guarantee full registration automatically. Companies must still meet separate registration requirements before beginning commercial operations.
