Blockchain gaming project DeFi Kingdoms will shut down its proprietary mainnet, DFK Chain, and move to Avalanche's C-Chain.
DeFi Kingdoms wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Aug. 1 that it will officially end DFK Chain operations on Aug. 28. The project is working with the Avalanche team to transfer player assets to Avalanche's C-Chain.
DeFi Kingdoms said the closure of DFK Chain does not mean the project itself is ending. It plans to release an SDK to support external developers building services that use DFK's systems and game mechanics, while continuing to explore long-term development plans for the project.
