BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes has made another Ether purchase worth about $2.5 million.
On-chain analytics platform Onchain Lens said on Aug. 2 that Hayes transferred 2.5 million USDC each to Galaxy Digital and FalconX.
Through Galaxy Digital, he completed the purchase and received about 1,337 ETH, valued at roughly $2.5 million.
The 2.5 million USDC sent to FalconX has not yet been executed. If that order is filled, Hayes's additional Ether purchases would total about $5 million.
