Coinone said on August 3 that it launched a "Voucher" service combining trading-fee discounts and point paybacks.
The service is available to all Coinone members. Users can issue and register a voucher through the new "Voucher" tab on the exchange's app and website, and the benefits remain in effect for 30 days after registration.
Users who register a voucher will receive a 0.04% trading fee rate across all tokens. Coinone said the rate is among the lowest offered by domestic virtual-asset exchanges.
In the USDT market, maker orders are exempt from trading fees. The discount applies only to trades executed directly on Coinone's app and website, and does not apply to Smart Trading, Coin Accumulation, Coin Borrowing repayments or API trading.
The service also offers Coinone point paybacks based on trading volume. Based on cumulative trading value over the 30 days after voucher registration, users will receive points at a rate of 0.008% for 100 million won ($72,000) to less than 1 billion won ($720,000), 0.01% for 1 billion won ($720,000) to less than 10 billion won ($7.2 million), 0.015% for 10 billion won ($7.2 million) to less than 100 billion won ($72 million), and 0.02% for 100 billion won ($72 million) or more.
Vouchers can be reissued without limit. Users can obtain a new voucher starting seven days before the current one expires. If they register it again, the benefits will automatically be extended for 30 days beginning after the existing expiration date. Coinone plans to notify users through app push alerts and KakaoTalk messages at key points, including when no voucher has been issued, when one is nearing expiration and when payback points are awarded.
Chief Executive Officer Cha Myung-hoon said the company had overhauled its prepaid trading-fee coupon policy and expanded fee benefits to all members. He said Coinone aims to build investor recognition that anyone using the platform can access some of the industry's lowest fee rates and its widest fee benefits.
