Cosmostation, a wallet service in the Cosmos (ATOM) ecosystem, will cease operations.
Wu Blockchain reported on Aug. 15 that Cosmostation plans to phase out its wallet service. Beginning Sept. 1, only seed phrase and private key export functions will remain, with all other features to be shut down in stages.
The phaseout covers the iOS and Android apps, as well as the Chrome extension. The applications themselves will eventually be discontinued.
Launched in 2018, Cosmostation is one of the leading wallets in the Cosmos ecosystem. It is known as the ecosystem's second-largest wallet by market share.
Cosmostation did not disclose the reason for the shutdown.
