Kraken Rolls Out U.S. Stock Trading Across Europe
Forecast Trend Report by Period

Kraken has launched U.S. stock trading for users across Europe, The Block reported on Aug. 18.
The global digital-asset exchange is offering trading in shares listed on U.S. exchanges to users in European Economic Area member countries. The service had recently been introduced on a limited basis in Germany, the Netherlands and France, and was expanded across the EEA on Aug. 18.
Kraken said the launch allows users to trade both U.S. stocks and tokenized shares known as xStocks through a single account.
"By offering U.S.-listed stocks and xStocks side by side in one regulated account, users can choose either traditional shares or a tokenized format for the same underlying asset," Mark Greenberg, chief commercial officer at Payward, said. Users also do not need to move funds or switch platforms, he added.
Kraken plans to expand the combined U.S. stock and tokenized stock service to additional markets.
