MoonPay Adds Cash App Pay for US Users, Expanding Access to Digital Assets

Digital-asset payments company MoonPay is now supporting Cash App Pay for users in the US.

Cointelegraph reported on August 18 that MoonPay added Cash App Pay as a payment option, allowing US users to buy digital assets directly with their Cash App balances.

The feature is available through MoonPay’s checkout system as well as selected partner services, including MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Ledger, Uniswap and BitPay. Users can pay with their Cash App balances without a separate login or switching apps.

“Millions of Americans already manage their money through Cash App,” MoonPay co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Ivan Soto-Wright said. The integration lets users access the digital-asset ecosystem directly through an app they already know, he added.
