Bitcoin Whale Deposits 3,000 BTC Into Binance

A Bitcoin whale transferred about $225 million worth of Bitcoin to Binance, according to on-chain data.

Lookonchain said on Aug. 21 that the investor moved 3,000 BTC to Binance over the previous two hours. The deposit was valued at about $225.67 million at the time of the transfer.

The whale has been steadily shifting Bitcoin to Binance since July 19. Since then, the investor has deposited a total of 12,513 BTC into the exchange, worth about $850 million.

As of 4:36 p.m., Bitcoin was trading at $76,335, up 9.79% from a day earlier.
