On-chain analytics platform Lookonchain said on August 26 that a wallet linked to BitMine received 20,000 Ether from crypto exchange Kraken.
The tokens were worth about $48.89 million at the time of the transfer, implying a price of roughly $2,445 per Ether.
Lookonchain inferred that BitMine made an additional purchase based on the transfer of Ether from Kraken to a BitMine-linked wallet. BitMine has not officially confirmed the transaction as a purchase.
