Bonanza Lab Registers Patent for Digital-Asset Index Calculation Technology

Bonanza Lab, a digital-asset data company, said on September 3 that it had registered a patent for digital-asset index calculation data service technology.

The patent covers technology that integrates the entire index operation process into a single system, from collecting and standardizing data from multiple exchanges to quality assessment, index calculation, anomaly monitoring, disruption response and result delivery.

The company said the technology is focused on ensuring the reliability and transparency needed for digital-asset indexes to be used as benchmark prices for financial products. It is designed to improve data accuracy and the stability of index operations by managing index calculation records and unusual situations.

Based on the patent, Bonanza Lab plans to expand cooperation with index providers and financial companies and provide the data and index calculation and operating infrastructure needed for digital-asset-based financial products.

"For digital assets to be used as underlying assets for financial products, reliable data and infrastructure are essential to calculate them under consistent standards and operate them stably," Park Hye-yeon, co-chief executive officer of Bonanza Lab, said.
