Forecast Trend Report by Period

Steve Witkoff, President Donald Trump’s special envoy for Middle East and Ukraine negotiations, earned more than $100 million last year through a holding company that includes cryptocurrency businesses.
Bloomberg’s analysis of a recently disclosed financial filing published September 8 showed Witkoff reported $107 million of income in 2025 from a holding company he owns. Income from the same company in 2024 was $34 million.
The holding company owns businesses including World Liberty Financial, a crypto project launched with participation from the Trump family and the Witkoff family, as well as resorts, golf and hotel operations, and residential real estate ventures.
The filing did not separately list the value or income of individual assets held under the company. As a result, it is unclear how much Witkoff earned specifically from World Liberty Financial.
World Liberty Financial operates the dollar-pegged stablecoin USD1 and its WLFI token. It also offers lending and borrowing services. The project had pursued a token tied to a Trump hotel planned in the Maldives, though that effort is now on hold.
Witkoff’s stake in the venture has also drawn conflict-of-interest scrutiny. One widely cited example is Abu Dhabi-based MGX’s $2 billion investment in crypto exchange Binance using World Liberty Financial’s USD1.
The White House has said Witkoff sold his stake in World Liberty Financial and does not participate in government matters that could affect his financial interests.
Trump also reported more than $594 million in income from World Liberty Financial last year. Trump and Witkoff were introduced as co-founders of the project before taking office, but stepped away from company operations after entering public office.
Witkoff reported total assets of at least $408.7 million in the latest filing. The disclosure, however, has not yet received final approval from the government ethics office.
