Robinhood Chain's daily fee revenue climbed to a record $6 million, with token launchpad Pons driving the recent growth.

The Block reported on Sept. 9 that Robinhood Chain generated $6 million in fees on Sept. 4, marking its highest daily total on record. Fees over the previous seven days reached about $25 million, up roughly 17-fold from $1.4 million a week earlier.

Over the same period, decentralized exchange trading volume more than doubled from the prior week to $12.4 billion. The number of users, however, did not increase. Average daily active accounts last week fell to about 396,000 from the previous week. The data suggests trading activity and fee generation from existing users rose sharply, sending fee revenue per account higher.

Fees per active account jumped from $0.13 in mid-August to $15.90 in early September. Pons led that increase. It is now the largest token launchpad on Robinhood Chain. On Sept. 3 alone, Pons generated about $6 million in fees, more than Pump.fun and Hyperliquid each recorded on the same day.

The launchpad's growth also fueled a sharp rally in the PONS token. Its market capitalization topped $970 million on Sept. 5, setting a record, and the token has gained more than 200% over the past week. Pons uses about 80% of protocol revenue for PONS buybacks. More than 28% of total PONS supply has been burned so far.

The report said future fee growth will depend on whether new tokens and liquidity pools continue to be created. If the number of tradable pools shrinks or trading volume declines, the recent spike in fees could also slow.
