On-chain analytics platform Lookonchain said on Sept. 17 that a newly created wallet, "0xC2f1," withdrew 2,695 ETH from Gemini about five hours earlier. The tokens were worth about $6.94 million at the time, and the wallet staked the entire amount.
Another wallet, "0x3F2c," withdrew 2,500 ETH from Binance after about nine months of inactivity. The holdings were valued at about $6.02 million.
Together, the two wallets pulled 5,195 ETH from exchanges, worth about $12.96 million.
Lookonchain said the transactions indicate Ethereum whale accumulation.
