A large cryptocurrency investor sold about $86.76 million worth of Bitcoin over the past five days, then bought a similar amount of Ether and staked the entire holding.
On Sept. 21, on-chain analytics firm Lookonchain said the whale sold 1,107 Bitcoin on Hyperliquid during that five-day period. The sales totaled about $86.76 million.
The whale then spent about $86.5 million to buy 34,422 Ether. All of the purchased Ether was staked.
Lookonchain said the wallet appears to be continuing to shift funds from Bitcoin into Ether.
