Coinone Launches 'Chuseok Bonus Event' for New Users, Offering $7,200 in Benefits

Coinone said on Sept. 23 that it will hold a "Chuseok Bonus Event" for new users, offering total benefits worth 10 million won ($7,200) during the Chuseok holiday period.

The event begins at 10 a.m. on Sept. 23 and runs for one week through Sept. 30. Customers who newly sign up for Coinone during that period are eligible to participate.

To take part, users must choose one of three cards they think features a full moon and register the event code they receive. The odds of selecting the full moon card are one in three.

The correct answer and the winners will be announced at 6 p.m. on Oct. 7. Participants who choose the full moon card will equally split a total of 10 million Coinone points, based on the number of winners.

Separately, Coinone is also running a promotion that gives all new September sign-ups Bitcoin worth 30,000 won ($22). As a result, new users who join during the Chuseok bonus event period can receive benefits from both promotions.

A Coinone marketing official said the company prepared the event to offer generous benefits to new customers for the traditional holiday. Participants can receive a substantial Chuseok bonus by taking part in a simple game, the official added.
