President Donald Trump bought up to $100,000 more of Strategy stock in July, according to a personal transaction disclosure.

Records filed with the U.S. Office of Government Ethics and cited by Cointelegraph on Sept. 23 show Trump bought between $50,001 and $100,000 of Strategy shares on July 27. He had also purchased another $1,001 to $15,000 of the stock on July 24. Strategy is the world's largest publicly traded corporate holder of Bitcoin, with about 846,000 BTC.

Trump also bought Coinbase shares in July, while selling stakes in Bitcoin miners MARA Holdings and CleanSpark. Among the disclosed crypto-related trades, the July 27 Strategy purchase was the largest by value.

The latest purchase was in the same reported range as a Strategy stock purchase disclosed on Feb. 12. Trump has bought and sold the company's shares several times this year. Because the filings report transactions in value bands, his current shareholdings cannot be determined.

The White House told CNBC on Sept. 23 that Trump's stock and bond portfolio is managed independently by a third-party financial institution and that neither the president nor his family is involved in investment decisions.

Strategy shares have risen about 30% over the past five trading sessions and about 37% over the past month following the disclosure of Trump's purchases.

Separately, the Trump administration is pushing to revamp digital-asset rules using existing regulatory authority, even as congressional action on the CLARITY Act, a crypto market structure bill, remains delayed. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Sept. 17 temporarily allowed limited on-chain trading of tokenized U.S. stocks. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission also eased registration requirements for some software providers tied to derivatives and began drafting broader crypto-market regulations.
