As of 9 a.m., Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at $83,680 on CoinMarketCap, up 0.21% from the previous day.
Altcoins were broadly weaker as well. Ether (ETH) fell 0.42% and BNB dropped 0.61% at the same time. Other major cryptocurrencies, including XRP (-0.42%), Tron (-0.35%), Hyperliquid (-1.54%) and Zcash (-4.10%), were also lower, with Solana (+0.40%) the only major token in positive territory.
The Fear & Greed Index is a measure of market sentiment. A reading closer to 0 indicates extreme fear, while one closer to 100 signals extreme greed.
