Bithumb Ranks No. 1 in KCSI Crypto Exchange Category for Second Straight Year

Bithumb said on October 1 that it ranked first in the virtual asset exchange category within the finance sector in the 2026 Korean Customer Satisfaction Index, or KCSI, survey hosted by Korea Management Association Consulting.

The exchange extended its lead to a second straight year after becoming the first in the industry to top the category last year. KCSI is a customer satisfaction index that comprehensively evaluates products and services by industry based on overall satisfaction, composite satisfaction factors and customers' intention to reuse.

Bithumb said it expanded AI-based services this year to help users check market information more easily and use it for investment decisions. Through Bithumb AI, which includes AI Coin Signal and AI Coin Analysis, users can view market trends and key information on individual assets at a glance.

It also introduced AI Trade Kit, which allows users to create automated trading programs based on generative AI. The service is designed to help users quickly understand market information spread across multiple sources and use it to build trading strategies.

Bithumb also revamped its services to improve trading convenience. It upgraded the trading screen and color system to improve readability, and introduced time-weighted average price, or TWAP, and portfolio buying services to broaden investment options. It also simplified the process so users can open a KB Kookmin Bank account and link it to Bithumb without installing a separate app.

The company also strengthened customer support and user protection. It said it was the first domestic virtual asset exchange to introduce a speech-to-text-based support service, and now operates customer service channels including phone and chat 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Bithumb is also operating a video-call identity verification process for very elderly customers. The company is also moving to adopt quantum-resistant cryptography and upgrade its security system by expanding its bug bounty program and regular information security campaigns.
