DigitalX, Mirae Asset’s digital-asset investment platform, said on October 6 that it has officially launched a new app featuring a full UI and UX overhaul and generative AI-based investment support tools.
The update is DigitalX’s first major app revamp since joining Mirae Asset Group. It is aligned with the group’s next-generation “Mirae Asset 3.0” vision and focuses on strengthening AI-powered asset-management features.
At the center of the update is a generative AI chatbot built into the app. According to DigitalX, this is the first mobile app from a South Korean virtual-asset exchange to embed a generative AI chatbot. Users can ask natural-language questions about the market, including what is behind a drop in Bitcoin prices, and the AI organizes related information based on reports from global media outlets while citing its sources. It also explains technical indicators such as moving averages and the relative strength index, or RSI, in simple terms.
The app also adds an AI-powered portfolio diagnostic feature. The system analyzes users’ holdings every day at dawn and generates tailored diagnostic results. Once a new analysis is completed, users receive a notification through the app’s AI button.
DigitalX also introduced a natural-language order support function. For example, when a user enters a specific virtual asset and a purchase amount, the AI creates an order card reflecting the asset, amount and order method. The AI does not execute orders automatically. Users must review or revise the generated details and press the order button themselves before the trade is submitted.
The UI and UX were also reorganized so users can choose settings based on their experience level. When users first open the app, it applies a “Light Mode” centered on core features. They can switch to “Pro Mode” from the home screen if needed. In Light Mode, the screen is built around a “My Investment” section that lets users view holdings, returns and AI-generated market summaries at a glance. Order types are divided into “Simple Order,” focused on essential functions, and “Standard Order,” which uses an order book. The chart feature uses an in-house engine to improve processing speed.
DigitalX is also holding a user event to mark the app launch. Users who complete three missions — using AI features, executing orders in Light and Pro modes, and using AI for three days — will receive rewards of up to $7. The event will be run on a first-come, first-served basis for a total of 15,000 users, including 5,000 existing members and 10,000 new or dormant users.
Lee Jung-woo, DigitalX’s chief technology officer, said the “agentic AM,” or asset management, envisioned by Mirae Asset 3.0 goes beyond answering questions. It is designed to help manage assets by monitoring markets and portfolios even while customers sleep. He said the AI portfolio diagnostics prepared every dawn and the conversational ordering function are the first step.
He added that the company plans to introduce an “agentic trading bot” feature that will allow users to create a trading bot simply by talking with AI, with the bot continuing to operate based on strategies set by the customer. The company said it will continue strengthening AI features that help customers manage their assets.
