Forecast Trend Report by Period

Jeff Yan, founder of decentralized derivatives exchange Hyperliquid, said he sees growth potential in the digital-asset options market.
BlockBeats reported on October 8 that Yan said in an interview he would study options trading if he were starting a company again today, citing strong user demand for the sector.
Perpetual futures contracts meet most user demand, he said, but some investors feel those products do not fully reflect their market views.
Yan added that Hyperliquid's HIP-4 is a suitable foundation for building an options-trading protocol. It can make use of the platform's existing spot market, order book and portfolio margin system, while perpetual futures can be used to hedge the price risk of options trading.
He also said products such as options are already widely adopted in traditional finance, but the digital-asset market still lacks a platform with a broad options user base.
