ANAP Holdings said on Oct. 26 that it will run a Bitcoin experience campaign at Bitcoin Japan 2026, which is scheduled for Nov. 27-28 in Tokyo's Akihabara district.
Participants who preregister and attend the event will receive 1,000 satoshis, or 0.00001 BTC. As of Oct. 13, that was worth about 130 yen, or roughly $8. The giveaway is limited to the first 3,000 attendees. Participants can also receive additional Bitcoin by joining separate programs.
The event was designed to give members of the public with no prior experience owning Bitcoin a chance to receive it directly. Participants will be able to use a personal digital-asset wallet to experience the process of receiving and storing Bitcoin.
ANAP Holdings said the event will give even people who have never owned Bitcoin a chance to receive it and experience its structure and potential firsthand.
