As of 6:33 a.m. on October 28 in Seoul, Bitcoin was trading at $81,190.19 on global cryptocurrency exchange Binance, up 1.38% from a day earlier. On South Korea's Upbit won market, it changed hands at 108,053,000 won, up 1.14% from the previous day.
Major altcoins, including Ether, also moved higher. Ether traded at $2,359.78, up 1.94% from 24 hours earlier.
XRP rose 2.54% from a day earlier to $1.3289, marking a relatively strong gain among major cryptocurrencies. Solana also advanced 0.97% to $101.75.
