Hardware wallet maker Trezor urged users to move their assets after saying some products already sold may have been tampered with.

Wu Blockchain reported on October 30 that Trezor had received a tip that an external device may have been inserted into Trezor Safe 5 units sold by distributor Cryptobilis in August.

Trezor said it has not yet obtained the product in question and has therefore been unable to verify whether it was actually tampered with. It also said no Cryptobilis customers have reported asset theft so far.

Trezor added that users who bought products from Cryptobilis after March this year should generate a new recovery seed phrase and quickly transfer their assets to a new wallet.
