A hacker behind the attack on Binance, the world's largest digital-asset exchange, now holds more Bitcoin than most companies.

Cointelegraph reported on October 30 that blockchain analytics firm Bitquery said wallets linked to the Binance hack hold 18,270 Bitcoin. At current prices, the holdings are worth about $1.45 billion.

That is more than the Bitcoin held by Coinbase, the largest digital-asset exchange in the US. Coinbase currently holds 18,071 Bitcoin.

The hacker's Bitcoin is spread across 19 wallets. Seventeen of them each hold 1,000 Bitcoin, with the remainder split between two other wallets.

The hacker also holds a sizable amount of Ether. Bitquery said the wallets held 508,621 Ether at the same point in time. The hacker initially stole 200,630 Ether and acquired the rest by swapping stolen stablecoins and altcoins into Ether.
