NEXUS, the operator of ONE Chain, said on Nov. 4 that Kaia Labs has joined the network as a validator.
Kaia Labs will participate in block production, transaction validation, network security and maintenance for ONE Chain Mainnet 2.0. The two companies plan to expand their cooperation to support the stable operation of ONE Chain and projects in its ecosystem.
Kaia Labs is a Singapore-based blockchain technology company responsible for core protocol development, maintenance and network operations for Kaia, which was launched through the merger of Klaytn and Finschia.
"It is meaningful that two chains representing South Korea, both of which have continued to grow regardless of market conditions, are now cooperating," NEXUS Chief Executive Officer Jang Hyun-guk said. "I hope this partnership will help lay the foundation for a revival of South Korea's blockchain industry."
Other validators on ONE Chain include One Store, CertiK, HashKey Cloud and DSRV.
