Bloomberg Analyst: "MicroStrategy (MSTR) Expected to Join Nasdaq 100 Index"

Ahead of the annual rebalancing of the Nasdaq 100 Index on the 13th of this month, there is a high possibility that MicroStrategy (MSTR) will be included in the index.
On the 11th (local time), Eric Balchunas, a Bloomberg ETF analyst, stated on X (formerly Twitter) that "MicroStrategy is likely to be included in the Nasdaq 100 Index on December 23rd. On the other hand, Moderna is likely to be excluded from the index."
He further explained, "The official announcement will be on December 13th, and it is expected to account for about 0.47% of the assets tracking the index. Next year, MicroStrategy might also be included in the S&P 500 Index."
Meanwhile, the Nasdaq 100 Index refers to a stock index that gathers only 100 leading companies listed on the U.S. stock market.
