Microsoft shareholders still appear skeptical about the Bitcoin accumulation strategy. This outcome emerged despite Michael Saylor, CEO of MicroStrategy, attending the Microsoft shareholders' meeting and presenting on the Bitcoin (BTC) accumulation strategy.

According to the investor letter released by Microsoft on the 12th, only 0.55% of Microsoft shareholders voted in favor of the Bitcoin investment strategy. The votes in favor were 28,234,000, while there were 5,148,000,000 votes against and 22,600,000 abstentions.

The Microsoft board urged shareholders to reject the proposal before the shareholder vote, citing the volatility of virtual assets. Microsoft stated at the shareholders' meeting, "Bitcoin is currently a more volatile asset than corporate bonds, so companies should not hold too much Bitcoin, risking shareholder value."
