Ethereum (ETH) Layer 2 Mantle (MNT) announced on the 17th that it plans to launch Mantle Scout Season 2 within this month.

Mantle Scout is Mantle's nurturing program aimed at discovering promising cryptocurrency projects, providing strategic support such as mentoring and grants from various industry investors and professionals. In Season 1 held last year, Hashed, A41, and Comma3 Ventures participated as scouts, discovering projects like Fide AI and Spacebar.

Mantle Scout Program Season 2 will run for a total of six months from January to June next year, focusing on selecting projects centered on consumer, payment, and artificial intelligence (AI) applications.

Notably, the support scale for Season 2 has been significantly expanded compared to Season 1. The allocated support fund for Season 2 is $5 million, a fivefold increase from the previous season. Additionally, the number of scouts has more than doubled to 40. Notable new scouts include Delphi Ventures, Athena, and Orange DAO.
