Korbit Research Center, under the domestic cryptocurrency exchange Korbit, announced on the 13th that it has published a Korean translated summary of the <Crypto Theses for 2025> report by Messari, a U.S. crypto data analysis company, which contains the 2025 outlook for the crypto industry.
This report, the first written by analysts from Messari, covers major trends and narratives in the crypto industry through a new structure and approach. The report is composed of ▲The State of Crypto, analyzing major trends from the past year ▲Sector Theses, covering future prospects of major sectors ▲Messari Analyst Picks ▲Messari Awards.
Through the 'State of Crypto' section, Messari predicted that regulatory clarity on cryptocurrencies will be enhanced by 2025. It specifically forecasted that clear crypto guidelines will be established in the bicameral legislature, where the Republican Party holds a majority, and that a stablecoin bill could also be enacted. It also analyzed that if the Trump Administration fulfills even some of its election promises, the crypto industry will benefit significantly.
Additionally, it predicted an increase in institutional investor entry, growth of Solana and Meme Coins, and continued growth of DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network). In the 'Sector Theses', it analyzed the future of major coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum, and mentioned the possibility of new business models emerging through the combination of AI and crypto, and the convergence of on-chain and off-chain services.
Yoon-Young Choi, head of Korbit Research Center, stated, "2025 will be another turning point for the crypto industry, and it is expected that more diverse investors and companies will enter the market." He added, "In such changes, re-verification of existing hypotheses and open-mindedness are more important than ever," and "I hope this translated version will serve as a useful guide in understanding the crypto market and preparing for opportunities."
