Summary
- The US SEC has officially confirmed receipt of Grayscale's Form 19b-4 application for a spot Dogecoin ETF.
- Unlike previous immediate rejections of altcoin ETF applications, this is being evaluated as indicating a higher possibility of ETF launch.
- The SEC's decision is being interpreted as a positive signal for Grayscale's Dogecoin ETF introduction.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has confirmed the receipt of Grayscale's Form 19b-4 (review request) regarding their spot Dogecoin (DOGE) ETF.
On the 14th (local time), Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett announced through her X (formerly Twitter) account that "The SEC has confirmed receipt of Grayscale's Form 19b-4 filing for their spot Dogecoin ETF."
Regarding this, Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas assessed, "The SEC has confirmed receipt of the 19b-4 for the spot Dogecoin ETF. This is different from the past when the SEC immediately rejected altcoin ETF applications. While the possibility of launch was already high, it has now increased even further."
